People are really upset and super outraged because they are seeing images and videos coming out of a particular El Salvador prison.

And we should discuss it because I'm not mad at all at these images.

So before we get into the facts surrounding this El Salvador prison, you may have seen some of the images.

You may have seen some of the videos coming out and people are outraged.

Some people are outraged and some people are just shocked.

How could these people within the prison system be treated like this?

How could you treat criminals, hard criminals like hard criminals?

That's a foreign concept if you are an American.

But let me give you some facts about El Salvador before this prison got tough on crime.

Okay, well, the gangs of El Salvador had turned it into one of the most dangerous countries in the world.

I know this because I had a best friend from El Salvador and she used to tell me stories about what takes place down there.

You could not even fathom the stories that she told me.

The daily killings have been a shocking part of its broken society for decades.

The fact of violence is so commonplace that when on a particular day in 2017, pardon, no murders were reported for 24 hours, it made front page headlines.
