Summary

Laura continues her interview with Bill Thomas, brother of Cathy Thomas, and researcher, writer and advocate Kristin Dilley about the brutal murders of Cathy Thomas and Rebecca Dowski and the other three double murders often referred to as the Colonial Parkway Murders. 0:00.0	So this is the Yorktown pub. This is the last place that Kathy and Becky were
0:06.4	allegedly seeing. When you look at this on a map you can see that it's pretty
0:10.6	close but if you look right here that's the colonial parkway right there. Right
0:15.4	just on the other side of that bridge. Yeah so you can easily see how Kathy and
0:19.3	Becky may have gone here for dinner or drink and then just they kind of had to
0:24.7	go through the parkway anyways right. Could they have been stopped? Could they have
0:28.0	been personally targeted and this is a place where someone could see them if
0:32.2	they are a couple there. If someone has an issue with that if someone wants to
0:36.3	target them for that. This is where they could have seen them in public and then
0:40.6	very easily just to follow them a very short distance to the parkway. I think
0:46.1	it's equally likely that someone may have been lying in wait down in the park
0:50.0	way though.
0:53.9	This is the exact road that Kathy and Becky were on and we're going in the same
1:01.4	direction because Yorktown's right behind us. And apparently they had a habit of
1:05.6	doing this coming to the parkway together because they wanted that privacy.
1:09.2	So there's logical conclusions we can draw. Exactly. We know their pattern. We know
1:13.8	that this was something that was common for them to do. It wasn't out of the
1:18.4	usual for them. They would be familiar with this area and they would be
1:22.8	somewhat comfortable with this area right. Right. The question is why would
1:28.8	somebody target Kathy and Becky? It can be rage. It can be jealousy. It can be a
1:34.1	dispute over anything financial or otherwise. There are a lot of reasons why one
1:39.4	person may target another.
