Today's episode is the 2nd part of a 2-part episode exploring and debunking the claims make by Mike Warnke in his 1972 book, "The Satan Seller." In this book, Warnke claims to have been a satanic high priest involved with the illuminati, and that he had satanic occult powers to summon demons and put spells on people. These claims launched Warnke's decades-long career as a christian speaker until he was proven to be a liar in the early 1990s by an article in Cornerstone Magazine. Join in as Sadie and Gavi explore the outlandish and absurd claims that Warnke made in his book.

TW: In general we talk about a lot of potentially triggering topics on this show, including but not limited to suicide and mental health, racism, misogyny, PTSD and PTSD symptoms, child abuse, mental, physical, and sexual abuse, and spiritual abuse including guilt, shame, and fear. In most episodes we’ll mention at least a few of these topics, but we try very hard to avoid graphic detail unless it’s relevant to the story we’re telling, and we do our best to give the audience a heads-up before going into detail on any of these topics. In this episode we are discussing the satanic panic and claims of satanic ritual abuse, as well as a lot of drug use, brief mentions of suicide (that was not completed) and domestic violence. Generally we will mention the names of the substances that Warnke said he was on, and the effects he says he experienced but we won’t describe his methods of use in any detail. There is also one point in the episode where we describe an alleged sexual assault. (We say alleged because it is the perpetrator claiming to have done it and there’s no other evidence that it ever happened, or that the victim was a real person who ever existed) and in that instance we will say that someone was sexually assaulted, but not give any details beyond that. There is also a small amount of general witchcraft spookiness, alleged blood drinking, we don’t believe it happened so we are not treating it as truthful, but it will come up.
