My guest today is Doug Stokes, a British academic who is Professor in International Security and Strategy in the Department of Politics at the University of Exeter, and a Senior Adviser at the Legatum Institute. His areas of research specialism include American foreign policy, geopolitics and the culture wars. Doug acted as the Director of Exeter University's Strategy and Security Institute and was a Senior Research Fellow at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) for over a decade.

The topic is his book Against Decolonisation: Campus Culture Wars and the Decline of the West.
