I've been having a lot of fun here over the course of the summer, giving some monologues about price,

trend following, and what I refer to as predictive technical analysis.

Now, predictive technical analysis can mean anything from chart reading, support and resistance,

Elliott Wave, Fibonaki, candlesticks, and any other bullshit you can dream up.

And some people don't like it when I use bad words in this podcast, so I will try to do better,

but occasionally, given my

baseball background, a sports background, the F-bombs will appear. But when I talk about technical

analysis, when I talk about predictive technical analysis, including all these so-called approaches

that I just mentioned, boy, do they come out of the

woodwork. The haters come out of the woodwork. Because people realize I have a voice. I have a strong

voice. I have a very well-researched voice. A lot of people trust me.

So when I say certain things, I back it up. Now, if you're a proponent of candlestick trading,

or chart reading, or Fiboninaki or elliot wave the last thing you want is michael covel saying

that your world is bullshit so invariably if i do say bullshit, invariably those people will come after me.

You know, that's how it works in this world, right?

I mean, you can't pay too much attention to them.

It makes for useful content, it makes for useful discussion, it makes for a useful example

to show people that really want to learn how to get there.

Because when I look at this predictive technical analysis, I see two camps in it.

One camp is the purveyors, the people that push the nonsense.

They know they have no proof.

They don't care. This is Wall Street, baby.
