Hello, friends, and welcome to this my 17th episode. I hope that you had a glorious Halloween.

I have some really horrible things I can't wait to share with you today.

But first, how are you doing? Are you holding

it together? Just barely? I hope you are practicing self-care big time today. I'm talking

directly to my American listeners at the moment, although I suppose the consequences of our actions

tomorrow will greatly affect the world at large. So I understand

if you are equally ready to puke outside of the states. Incidentally, the most I think I ever

have puked was the 2016 election. I was in a Mexican restaurant. And when Clinton lost Virginia,

as soon as that happened, I knew that was that.

So I just started ordering multiple margaritas at a time. The waitress was like, are these for

other people? I was like, no, they are not. I'm just going to need them faster than you can bring them.

I held it together long enough to get myself to the front door, but from then on, it was just

downright catastrophe.

Although one of the most beautiful photos of me ever taken was taken that night.

I fell asleep on the floor outside the bathroom, and my hair was fanned out in what looked

like rolling fields of golden wheat.

You're just going to have to take my word for that.
