All right boys and girls welcome back Sam's army episode 2.169 we got a lot to talk about this week we're going to start with headlines we're really going to lean into them because of the death of Plunal is a Beth which we'll talk about quickly and all the complications that is coming from that also going to talk about certain vanquishing of a terrorist and spying in soccer.

Then we'll move on to Champions League where we'll talk about the results from last week and preview the week come primarily where we do not have a weekend review but we do have some games coming up this week.

In the rest of the world we've got to talk about the U.S. men's national team and the roster that is going to drop this week and then finally stop it's time with best bets and everyone's favorite segment go us.

My friend I am doing well and it took a bit of a hiatus but I'm back I am back.

He's the opposite of a Mr. Tuckle that we'll get into a little bit later but no I'm like already just getting under Larry's skin and I haven't even introduced him yet but so your question quickly DJs what's the coolest thing you did over your summer hiatus here?

I went to Paris me and the wifey after the Paris debacle I'm not sure if you explained it to listeners did I think I mentioned the passport fiasco.

Yeah me and the wife called the Paris debacle with the pet with the passport and couldn't go came all the way back pretty much did 16 hours straight and so we went here the last week of or last month and

it was it was amazing I tried to fit a PSG game in there but they played the day before we got there and then a bunch of away games and wanted to try to go see Liverpool play but just wasn't in the cards but I was trying to do everything I can to get on that train to go to Liverpool.

All right well I mean listen Paris sounds amazing I won't ask if there's a you know a little McConnell on the way given the real man's in the air but we'll find out soon enough on that next up we got everyone I mean you guys know who this is and everybody this is what you're listening for this week probably given the madness that is occurring at Chelsea at the moment but first an unrelated question for you Larry.

You know it's the nature of the beast you know sometimes you got to pick up your life and move on to a different city I saw you just tweeted about the the saints taking over in Atlanta Walmart.

So I you know I assume you're kind of a saints fan at this point what what are your NFL affiliations like are you a brown fan permanently then just like plus whatever city you're in at the time.

So first off I even they haven't introduced him I was this is I'm just letting you guys know anyone's listening this is I did not sign up to be to be on this podcast with both TJ and Mikey I thought you know I thought TJ was still gone and I figured Mike you wasn't going to be here so you know I apologize for what I apologize for what's going to ensue.

Second I was born and have always been a Cleveland Browns fan I wherever I went Wyoming LA Portland Browns fan I am struggling with my loyalty.

I'm due to recent acquisitions so I'm I'm I'm on I'm the saints are auditioning for my saints are auditioning for my fandom this year.

Larry Larry I'm not trying to I'm not trying to be rude but you're struggling recently or of oh of this year yes of this summer but not like the 30 straight years of losing no I'm cool with that.

Oh okay no hey look I'm loyal I am I am loyal we can go through look we were there was a two years fan we were one and 31 guess what brown flag still flying high it's okay I don't you know I'm I'm I didn't just recently become a little cooler man city fan I I stick through the bad times as well.

And second or third I guess TJ looks darker than I do so I'm not going to let you guys see what I look like at the moment but you guys you know he's he's been around the world and back 20 times and he looks darker than I do so he's had a good time.

You haven't seen the light a day a little while I did it well you know it's you know with with the job that I thought you know two of us doing this podcast most of our hours are spent in the gym so you know there's not much there's not much sunlight in there listen I'm I'm I've already had it with you so number one I think everyone on this podcast knows I'm the furthest thing from a bandwagon and as a Steelers fan I have nothing but respect for the Browns so I'm not even going to stoop to your level you can keep talking to me.
