Summary

Jeff Brohm is the Head Coach of the University of Louisville football team, a former NFL quarterback and the only man to give Eric Wood a scholarship out of high school.

The Louisville native was a standout at Trinity High School, played for the Cardinals from 1989-93 and came back to coach Louisville as an assistant after his professional career.

Now, after 9 seasons as a Head Coach in CFB, Jeff signed to become the head man at Louisville ahead of the 2023 season.

0:55.2	Thank you for having me, Eric. I'll let you start off if you want to. Any embarrassing stories?
1:01.4	Any stories about the recruiting process? Your time coaching me that stand out? Well, to be quite honest,
1:08.0	I was the one who recruited Eric to come to the University of Louisville.
1:11.9	And, you know, at the time, I was a young coach trying to impress and, you know, kind of thought I found a hidden gym.
1:17.7	You know, really a good athlete, played tight in the year before, move and the tackle, a little bit undersized, underweight.
1:22.9	But really good athlete.
1:24.3	I gave you credit.
1:25.0	And kept kind of pushing the envelope with our head coach
1:28.4	and hey I really think we need to offer Eric da da da da da and coach was like well what else does he have
1:32.4	going on and said well he doesn't have anything going on and oh just keep recruiting him and I got that
1:36.0	story about five or six times from him then finally I went to watch and practice basketball and I'm not
1:42.2	going to lie you were really good I mean you ran up and down to court like Larry Burr.
1:46.0	You were making plays.
1:47.0	And I came back to coach.
1:49.0	I said, hey, I'm just telling you.
