0:16.8	ten things to tell you and you have ten things to tell. This is a show where we believe that sharing yourself will make you less
0:26.8	lonely. Here's the thing. I know a lot of really interesting people.
0:37.3	Smart people, creative people, people who are quietly and not so quietly changing the world.
0:48.5	And while I love being in the orbit of such interesting people. I've never quite found a way to have them on the show.
1:00.8	It never quite fit exactly what 10 things to tell you, was doing over the years and this show has
1:08.1	morphed and I like to offer a variety of episodes, but you know if there wasn't always a direct point to the conversation,
1:18.8	I just wasn't exactly sure how to incorporate it into episodes.
1:24.4	Until I was planning for the 200th episode
1:29.9	that aired back at the end of 2023.
1:34.3	And as I was thinking about what I wanted to do
1:36.8	to commemorate 200 episodes of the show
1:41.0	that I have poured my heart and soul into, I came up with the idea of asking people
1:49.0	what they're one thing they would tell to others. Like if you just had one thing to share, what
1:57.4	would it be? The show was called 10 things to tell you and I have kind of my 10 main messages that I really hit on over and over
2:06.1	over the years but I wanted to ask past guests for episode 200 I wanted to ask them
2:12.3	what they're one big thing that they could
2:15.4	share with listeners what that would be. And so for episode 200 I got some of the
2:20.9	most amazing responses to that question.
2:25.6	I reached out to a lot of past guests of the show and I was just delighted by what their responses were.
2:34.0	And that became a bit of a light bulb moment for me
2:37.0	of a way that I could incorporate some of the very interesting people that I already know
