Everybody, Tom and Bob here with another episode of Contra Krugman. Today we are in just a moment

going to be talking about a Krugman column called We Should Help Workers, Not Kill Them, May 18th,

2020. I guess it's obvious where he's going with that.

So we'll get to that in a minute, but we have a couple of announcements that are relevant to

you listeners. The first one probably won't come as much of a surprise, but we've decided,

of course, this year not to try to promote a Cont contra cruise under the circumstances. I'm sure everything

would be fine, but obviously the cruise brand is probably irretrievably damaged in the minds of people,

at least for a long time. I wouldn't mind going, but I understand why other people feel that way.

So it would have been great.

And then remember next year, we can't do it because we already made that decision.

So if you had been saying, oh, I'll go next year, I'll go next year.

This is the most tragic news you've received in a long time.

And you can see that when Tom and I kept saying, hey, there might not even be another one.

Like, no.
