Hey everyone. In this episode I'm going to bring you three stories of some horrific diving disasters from history.

The third story is the most gruesome of them all.

It tells the tale of the worst diving accident that ever occurred.

I'm Nate Ale, coming to you live from my pineapple under the sea and this is the conspirators. Story 1, The Birth, just off the coast of Pointe-opier in Trinidad and Tobago is a 1,200-foot-long pipe that runs

beneath the ocean that was designed for oil to pass through. Both ends of this pipe bend upwards at a 90 degree angle and rise up approximately

60 feet to the surface. Each of these risers is what's referred to as a berth. When it was operational, ships would dock at one end out in the ocean known as birth five,

and deposit their load of oil, which would then run through the pipe to birth six on the other end.

From there, the oil would be sucked up into a refinery
