I miss you so much. How was your holiday bestie? How was Christmas for you? I hope everything was good. Me, I hosted our Christmas dinner and brunch and it was so fun because I really love hosting I love being able to

feed my family seeing my family altogether and at the same time I was able to

cook with my grandma my other grandma actually because my

grandma she's really just weak now and she's getting old so she just she

doesn't really have the energy to cook with me. So my other grandma, which is my grandma's sister,

who actually gave me the name,

Carlo, because my name is John Carlo.

She was here with my grandma.

They're visiting and they're actually going home

in about two weeks from now.

She was the one who was helping me last three days,

cooking for Christmas dinner and brunch and we made some menudo

lumpia barbecue pinoy barbecue and we made some mango grey ham float which is float, which is the usual Filipino Christmas food that we eat.

It just feels so nostalgic because it's been six years since I went back home and it's been 12 years

since I celebrated Christmas in the Philippines and this you know this whole

cooking thing with my grandma and making the usual Christmas food that we have and serve in the table during Christmas time just feels nostalgic and it's brought me back to the days when you know the simplest thing makes

me so happy which is just food you know nothing too much no no gifts no nothing

but food and being with my family is the whole meaning of Christmas.

And again, it still is the same thing for me.

That's still the whole meaning of Christmas for me, but it's just, you know, I remember

my childhood, my teenage years,
