0:20.0	Welcome to talking scripture. I'm Mike and I'm Bryce and today Mosiah 29 through
0:28.9	Alma 4 now we kind of did Mosiah 29 last time so I think we're going to start
0:33.8	We're not going to go sequentially I think we're going to start with talking about the
0:37.4	Amal sites. So aren't we Bryce? Yep. There is very little in the Book of
0:41.1	Mormon that is more applicable to teenagers and young adults in this
0:45.0	church than this story of the Amlicites.
0:47.5	And I find myself referring to it no matter what block of scripture I happen to be teaching.
0:52.2	It comes up in the Old Testament the new
0:53.7	testament and then the doctrine and covenants it is very pivotal and to all the
0:58.7	young people that might be listening and especially to their parents out there I
1:02.4	just think this is such an
1:03.9	applicable story and not only that but I can't think of a better example of
1:08.0	how the Book of Mormon restores the plain and precious things lost in the
1:12.1	Bible. One of the most complicated
1:14.4	things in the Bible is made so clear and so plain by the story of the Amlesides.
1:19.6	So let's just jump in. Alma chapter 2 is kind of the history and then chapter 3 is the commentary.
