You have been warned. Our story starts in New Orleans, Louisiana, on October 17, 2006.

It had been a little over a year since the category 5 Hurricane Katrina had hit the city.

Causing 125 billion dollars in damage and killing nearly 2,000 people.

Many New Orleans fled the area before the hurricane came through, but some people stayed

to wait out the storm.

One person that stayed was a man named Zach Bowen, And on this October afternoon in 2006,

Zach is having some drinks at the rooftop bar

at the Omni Royal Hotel in New Orleans.

He opened his tab around 4 o'clock and spent the next few hours

smoking, hanging out, and taking shots of Jamison by the pool. As the night

went on people started noticing that Zach was getting anxious.

He was nervously pacing back and forth, and the bartender assumed he was going to walk out on

the hefty bill he acquired.

But instead, Zach goes to the bar and orders one more drink.

After finishing it, he slowly walks from the pool to the rooftops railing.

In the hotel security tapes,

Zach seems to be nervous, like he's contemplating something.
