| 0:26.4 | And this week we're going to be talking about the restoration of the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. |

| 0:39.6 | and it begins with the proclamation on the restoration of the fullness of Jesus Christ back in |
| 0:46.7 | 2020. If you remember during COVID, President Nelson read the proclamation of the restoration. |
| 0:53.9 | And so an overview of this lesson is basically |
| 0:56.3 | going to cover things like God loves his children in every nation of the world. And there's a really |
| 1:02.0 | good question in here. Why would a proclamation about the restoration begin with a statement about |
| 1:07.4 | God's love? And I think that's a really good question to start with. The restoration |
| 1:12.1 | is an expression of God's love. Now, Mike, just a quick insert. I remind you that, remember, |
| 1:17.7 | Nephi was told three stories. Lehi got the symbolic version of the tree of life, and Nephi got |
| 1:23.4 | kind of a literal version in three stories. And so the story number one was the New Testament times. |
| 1:30.9 | And it was easy to see the love of God, the tree of life in the New Testament, because it was |
| 1:35.6 | the birth of Christ. The next story Nephi got was the whole Book of Mormon story. And even |
| 1:40.7 | then, it's kind of easy to see the manifestation of the love of God in the |
| 1:45.2 | Book of Mormon with Jesus coming. So it's the visit of Christ, not so much the birth of Christ. |
