I never read her work before that.

It's somewhere between, it's speculative fiction,

sci-fi-ish, more like fantasy than sci-fi sometimes,

but for example, first one is there's a roadside attraction,

you know, one of those like road,

like you, they're like, you know, 50 miles

so they're this place but it's called the Eternal Staircase and like you're only

allowed to be in there for a certain amount of time but it goes down forever and they

don't know why and it's about the workers who work there who are like

oh God you got to be at the eternal staircase you're not allowed to work there for more than a
