bend and meet in prayer for the people whose last

will last here, for the workers who work here, for the

families and more.

This nation stands with the good people of New York City

and New Jersey and Connecticut.

As we mourn the loss of thousands of our citizens, I can hear you.

I can hear you, the rest of the world hears you and the people.

And the people who are not these buildings down will hear all of us soon.

So on 9.11 in 2001, I was in fourth grade.

I was 10 years old and I remember distinctly everything that happened that day.

I remember exactly what my teacher was wearing.

I remember that she was crying and she handed out these enclosed

letters and envelopes to all of us.
