What a wild 24 hours this has been.

One day we will tell our children about the 14-hour TikTok ban. I know this episode is

coming out on Tuesday, but we're recording this Sunday night six or so hours after TikTok came back.

And I just feel like what a bizarre and fascinating societal experiment that was. No, I know. I'm kind

of having a hard time putting into words exactly what we all

just experienced slash we're a part of. The only way that I can explain it is that when I say we will

tell our kids about the 14 hour TikTok band, what I specifically mean is like I have a vision of both of us

and our future children and you and I being like, no, you don't get it. There was a sway boy's

duet chain. Right. It's like if you don't understand the significance of that statement, I can't help

you. I know we have so much to get into and so much ground to cover here, but I actually think that's

kind of a place where I would like to start. And I think I'd specifically like to start with the Griffin video.

Yes, I think that's very necessary context, honestly, to set the scene for this discussion.

Because generally speaking, the last 24 or so hours prior to when TikTok was supposed to be banned,

can best be described as a free-for-all. People really just had this kind of fuck-it energy.

And this one trend that started to arise was the Peter Griffin Family Guy audio that said, since we're all going to die,

there's one more secret I feel I have to share with you. I did not care for the godfather.
