Hey everyone, welcome to Podcast number 42. I am your host, Reality Steve, a very special

guest we have for you today, one that many of you have asked me about over the last few months.

And here she is. You first saw her on Sean Lo's season of the Bachelor, then followed up with

her own season of the Bachelor at where she got engaged to and ended up marrying Chris Sikfried,

which of course you all knew because I told you she would. Oh wait, no I didn't. We'll get to that

a little bit later. Joining us now is Desiree Sikfried. Desiree, how are you? Hi, I'm doing good.

Thanks for having me. You got it. There is so much to cover here and let alone it's really kind of

bizarre that you are, I don't know if you know my track record or anything like this, but you are

literally the only season in the last, I don't know since well actually since I started spoiling in 2009

where I did not end up correcting myself before the finale. I don't know if you ever read what I

wrote, but I'm telling you, even in the last five minutes of the show, I thought Brooks was showing

that. It was just so bizarre, but we'll get to that later. I want to go all the way back to

let's start on your time on the Bachelor. You were on Sean season and from what the show told us,

you were working in the bridal industry at the time when you appeared on Sean season, correct?

Yep, that's correct. I was a bridal consultant. And where were you relationship-wise?

Like how were you fresh out of relationship? Where were you with that?

I was close to a year out of a long relationship and I had moved from Orange County to L.A.

to get a fresh start. And then that's when I went on the show.

How did you get cast? Was this a show that you had always watched and friend nominated you or whatever?
