Martin is the director of the Sutton Hoo research project and author of many books including: Sutton Hoo: Burial Ground of Kings?, Sutton Hoo: A Seventh-Century Princely Burial Ground and Its Context, and The Sutton Hoo Story. Encounters with Early England.
