Did you keep your microphone in some kind of a holster or a sheath?

Yeah. Oh, no, I put it on the, um, I put it on the, um, I don't know if the listener can hear this,

but just, just, I mean this is not the show. Of course it is, um, I just hear kind of a

kind of a whoushing sound sometimes like you're like you're unsheathing your

instrument. My microphone is kept here on the arm of the sofa and so it sits it sits like this just

like Johnny Cash and then when I pick it up I sometimes have to get it, you know, it's not oriented correctly.

So are you holding it?

Are you holding it in one of your hands while you're talking?

Yeah.

For a long time I had a mic stand like a tabletop mic stand.

Yeah. But then I realized I just held it in my hand.

And so then I just took the mic stand off because it's a lot heavier than just holding the

microphone but as you know an SM7 it doesn't have a it's not really a handle

you should get one of those like a

Freddie Mercury stick. Yeah, remember that? Like in the mid 70s. Well, yeah, our listeners probably won't remember this but

but Freddie Mercury, the singer from Queen, probably the greatest rock singer of all time.

He would do he would do a thing, especially in the mid-70s and

into the We Are the Champions era, where he would have the microphone in a stand-like thing. But I want to say, it was almost like if you ever like screwed up and

pulled the top of a mic stand but it had a stick that extended so you could do that
