After the Bears are rolling in with all their luggage and checking in to Olivet Nazarene University,

reporting day next Wednesday,

and then the first practice of training camp next Thursday down at ONU.

And as we tape on Wednesday night, there was finally the break that we were all waiting for.

Not entirely unexpected, but as JJ wrote,

and everybody acknowledged on social media,

the Mitch Trubisky deal finally got done.

We were talking about how some of the numbers stack up,

and yeah, he got a four-year deal a little richer

than his two predecessors at number two overall, too,

from what we're hearing on reports.

Right, which is to be expected.

Every year the market probably creeps up a little bit for the first quarterback taken.

So, yeah, I mean, and this was something that, you know, we could sort of have false panic about that he hadn't signed.

But ultimately, everything that he was saying, everything the Bears were saying,

indicated that a deal was going to get done.

It gets done the day that the Bears Rookies report to Hallis Hall.

So you can get the photo of him and all his Bears gear signing it and tweet that out and get a

thousand retweets on it.
