On the evening of December 6, 2014, a 911 call was received, detailing a burning car found on a rural backroad in Mississippi. When the first responders pulled up to the vehicle at exactly 8:09 PM, they came upon something horrific. Nineteen-year-old Jessica Chambers emerged from the woods, on fire, with nearly her entire body burned through to the muscle. While Jessica would later die that night and into the morning from the extent of her injuries, there was one broken whisper she managed to get out to the first responders that set this case in motion, "He set me on fire." Doctors quickly learned from examining her that Jessica had been force-fed gasoline down her throat and a flame lit inside her mouth for no known reason. Following her death, the hunt was on to uncover her killer and bring justice to her case, and what they would find through phone records and nearby camera footage was chilling.
