That's the biggest quarterback news of the day.

No, we've got a bit of a QB controversy on our hands, perhaps, as we go into preseason

game number three, Mitch Trubisky taking reps with the first team offense in practice,

first time since he was drafted doing that. And he is also, according to head coach John Fox,

going to be taking some first team reps in the third preseason game against the Tennessee

Titans. Big deal or not a big deal? That's a big deal. I mean, it's a big deal

when the second overall pick for the first time gets a look with the first team offense,

guys who he hasn't been working with. I mean, we have not seen Mitch Trubisky throw to a top

receiver or handoff to a top running back or play behind a top offensive line.

And we're going to get to see that on Sunday in Tennessee.

And that is a big deal.

You should be very excited about what Mitch Trubisky is done against Denver and Arizona.

But he's done that against third and

fourth string defenses with third and fourth string teammates. Now he'll get an opportunity

to play with guys who he eventually could be playing with against a defense full of guys who, while

the Bears don't face the Titans this year, guys who are on
