When you let go or you surrender, is that giving up something?

A lot of times with surrender, people are like, well, surrender sounds like I'm giving up.

Sounds like I'm quitting.

When it actually, what you're really giving up is you're giving up resistance.

You're giving up the pressure.

You're giving up this belief that you must control outer reality rather than allowing things

to naturally happen.

Now I was thinking about this because when you think of surrender, right, you

think of like someone waving the white flag and it's like it's it's giving up. You're giving
