I'm Lauren Holmes joined by Jim Miller, Lance Briggs, and Alex Brown.

We have got a lot to discuss. First impressions of Mitchell Trebisky.

I think he showed a lot of poise. When you look at his play, it's just again, I think there's a lot around them that is missing for the Chicago Bears.

And I think it's got to get better in terms of the penalties.

I think they finished with nine in the game.

And it wasn't just on offense.

It was on defense as well.

Granted, they had some injuries on defense, but overall defense, you know, they got off the field, forced in the backup quarterback of Minnesota, but the Bears really couldn't threaten on offense.

And I think it was a whole group effort of why it didn't work out.

If you're looking for a hope or a spark, I think he provided that.

You know, I think he was a guy that came in and the bear fan faithful.

You know, they're looking for somebody to come in and give him something to cheer for.

And he did that today.

You know, one thing, two things, two passes to me that kind of are kind of indicative of who he is.

You know, that very last pass at interception and there was another pass that he threw against the grain.

You know, and that to me was the rookie mistake, the rookie thought process.

He was running right through him back across the middle.

It's funny because even the touchdown pass, it was the same thing.

Got away with it.

Sendejo took the wrong angle to the ball and it ends up being tipped right into Miller's hands.

But that could have very easily been another intercession.
