Dan Yehli is a university lecturer when he's not doing podcasts, he has degrees in history, anthropology, Native American studies, a subject on which he is an expert.

The first one was published when he was only 22 so he's a very accomplished guy.

And we were talking the other day and I was working on ideas for a hardcore history, a dendum.

And he said, you know, we should talk about archaeology.

Now saying we should talk about archaeology is a little like saying we should talk about history. I mean, it's a giant subject isn't it? And neither one of us are archaeologists, although he's more qualified to talk about it with his anthropology degree than I am.

But we're both kind of geeking out about it for a while.

And so we decided, you know, what we'll have this conversation and we'll just sort of talk a little bit about, you know, our interesting stories or things that we would like to see or things from the past that.

You know, would resonate maybe with the listeners and maybe talk about it in terms of, you know, I proposed an Ebenezer Scrooge Christmas Carol kind of organization, right?

The ghost of archaeology past, the ghost of archaeology present and the ghost of archaeology future.

Sounds great in my head. We'll see how it works out in practice in this discussion with the wonderful, charismatic and intensely knowledgeable, Danielle E. Bollelli, host of history on fire.
