Hello, welcome to Christie's couch. My name is Christie Lukazyak. Thanks for hanging with me on the couch today.

If you haven't seen my couch, you definitely need to check it out. I shared on my Insta and on my Insta story quite a bit.

It's a really, really fabulous cute curved couch. It's pink velvet. And it actually sits below a sign in my office that says Christie's couch.

It's actually the logo from Christie's couch that I had made from an Etsy store. So truth of the matter is Christie's couch is an actual physical place that's right behind me.

The intentions were always for me to record on the couch, but then I quickly realized that my desk with my microphone was far away from the couch.

And if I wanted to sit on the couch, I actually had to pull it closer to the desk. And honestly, I'm too fucking lazy to do that every week. So here we are.

Anyhow, hello, welcome, welcome, welcome. It's Thursday. We had a short week this week. Yes. Hope everyone had a wonderful memorial memorial day. God, I wish it was a memorial day.

Hope you had a fab Labor Day. And I am in denial that Labor Day equals the end of summer. I'm holding out that summer is still here until the 21st of September.

Clara has informed me that I'm wrong that after Labor Day, it is officially fall. And I just can't. I can't. I can't wrap my head around it because it's too sad. I hate to see summer go.

I have seasonal depression. I do. Yeah, I do not want to say goodbye to summer. So nope, I am denying it. So what else is happening this week?

Well, my guest that I was supposed to interview today, she had a slight family situation rise. So we had to reschedule for next week.

So I was kind of in the last minute scramble to figure out what I wanted to talk about this week. And I do Christie's coffee or coffee with Christie every Monday on Instagram.

You should totally come and see it on Instagram stories because it's fun. Like I answer questions. And I was like, well, maybe I'll just answer some of those questions. But then I said somebody somebody went on there and they were like, I really wish you would do another true crime podcast.

And honestly, there's like I've said before, there's a million true crimes out there. I didn't want this to be a true crime podcast, but it's obviously something I'm super passionate about.

So I would get to the topic in just a few minutes, which you're already going to know it based on based on the title of this.

But I'm going to talk a little bit later about the Jambane case. And I mean, this is a case that I feel like I feel like I've laid in bed at night, like thinking this case really thoroughly through.

But we're going to talk a little Jambane. But before we get there, I just wanted to give you like, you know, the updates, all the fun things that are happening in the world, all the things that you should be checking out that I love or that I'm recommending to all my friends.

Well, the first thing I wanted to say is it's Fashion Week in New York. Clow is in New York for Fashion Week. So I'm excited to see some of the looks on her Instagram, since I'm not there.

So you should definitely be checking her out as well, because she's so damn cute.

So she's at Fashion Week. I'm in Pittsburgh quite different.

The other thing I wanted to mention is that her book club selection for the month, Chloe's book club is shadow and bone.

So I'm reading it along with Chloe's book club. If anybody out there is looking for a good fall read from what she has told me, it's kind of like it's got some fall vibes about it.
