Good morning and welcome to another exciting edition of BTL Bass Talk Live, or we are going to talk about

bass fishing. Hope everyone had a safe, happy, healthy holiday weekend, Thanksgiving, 24. I was home

back in Illinois for a brief 24-hour visit. It was one of the first times that I hadn't, didn't have any

time to stop by the old Mike's tackle world and dive through some old tackle i know i've been talking about that on

some recent shows but uh we got a good week of shows uh this week today we are going to dive into

the bFL uh if you are a tournament fisherman i think the bfls have to hold a special place uh in your heart

i have not fished them since i think i fished like an ice bowl in 2015 on grand lake where it took

like two pounds to cash a check uh all the shad died like on the lower end end, and everyone caught them on A-rigs up the river.

I remember that tournament clearly.

But my first major tournaments that I considered major at the time that I'd ever fished was in 2013,

I fished a division of the Oakey BFLs.

And that's really kind of how I cut my teeth as fishing from the front of the boat.
