But I didn't know. I had no idea. My cup was already full of all kinds of other things. So like I didn't know what my cup really needed. I had no idea. But how I wish that someone had told me, you know, that things like prayer and finding God are going to look different for everyone,

that God might sound like wind in trees for you.

If someone had told me that as a child, if someone had said that sentence, that might have changed the entire way that I went out into the world, you know, looking for the divine.

Rev visiting the map. We're going to go way back to episode 17. There she goes right off the map. Yeah yeah so really we're revisiting not having a map we're

revisiting not having a map what was it about this episode that you thought well let's

do a rerun of this one do you remember well there were I

I happened to just re-listen to it on a whim thinking I was looking for something else

and one of the things I loved in this episode is that I saw the seeds of something that went on to become a very foundational piece of our conversations and that is spiritual empowerment for women. This is before we had

really identified the fact that that's something many Latter-day Saint women seem to be

struggling with as reflected by the conversations that we're having with

listeners and so this is kind of the first place that we really laid out a

conversation about that before we had even identified really that it was a problem and so there

are all these seeds in it that we've gone on and grown as we have progressed through our six seasons and so I just really feel like this is where it all started in some ways.

One thing I noticed in this episode is and the listeners will get into it if they if they choose to keep

listening is we talked a lot about some of the early days of President Nelson's

talks where he talked a lot about getting getting our own

answers from God through personal revelation. Does that sound right? Yes. It was a pretty

common theme that we both noticed and we spoke a lot about it.
