0:21.9	Today is part two of sociosexuality and teenagers.

0:29.2	I've dealt with over the years several college-age girls that came back, you know, on break,
0:36.1	that came to see me, and they were struggling with what they
0:39.9	used to call catch feelings. And I can remember more than one girl telling me that she is doing,
0:46.6	you know, what her friends are doing. She goes out, gets completely drunk and connects, you know,
0:52.1	hooks up, quote, unquote, with some guy she's not known before.
0:57.1	And then, but it's supposed to just enjoy the sex and then go back home.
1:03.1	And without regards to the danger that that is, she's struggling because it's very unhappy for her.
1:09.5	And she does have feelings for these men that
1:13.0	she didn't even know and you know it's been important for me to explain to them no you're a normal
1:19.6	human female that doesn't have high sociosexuality it is not desirous of most females. And they didn't know it because
1:30.7	that was the norm. And I think two books that I've, and I know I've mentioned these both before,
1:36.3	one is Louise Perry's book, The Case Against the Sexual Revolution. Louise Perry's British
1:43.4	feminist, she does a great job. I think every
1:47.0	young woman should read her takedown of the lie of the sexual revolution. Louise Perry,
1:54.0	the case against sexual revolution. And another book that I found interesting was called American
2:00.8	hookup, which was based on very small research, but well documented or talked about how the image of, you know, you go to college and what people do there is have lots of partners.
2:12.9	And that's what boys and girls are doing.
