0:22.5	Jessica, this is usually where I say, how are you?
0:26.1	But as you know, I wanted to talk about this because you're kind of going through something.
0:31.6	And without burdening everybody, I think it's important to talk about what's happening for you. So what's going on in your
0:41.1	life and with your health? Well, I guess maybe four months ago, I was diagnosed with cancer,
0:49.2	with a cancer called Multiple Myeloma, which is a cancer of the blood plasma cells.
0:55.0	So this is a treatable, but not curable cancer.
0:59.4	So this is kind of a lifelong process that I'll be going through to have it treated and
1:05.5	to maintain and monitor and that sort of thing.
1:08.6	And that was, we were blindsided by the news in the spring. It was not
1:14.1	expected at all. I had had, I've had great health. I've never been on any medicines. I've never had
1:19.4	anything come up in my blood work or anything that was concerning. And suddenly I went in for
1:24.4	an x-ray and they said, we see something suspicious in your bones.
1:29.6	And it just shocked us.
1:31.0	It shook us to our core.
1:33.5	And it's been a rough couple of months.
1:39.2	I started treatment the summer and it was tough on my family.
1:40.3	It was tough on my body.
1:45.7	But it's starting to even out and I'm starting to feel more myself now that we're hitting the fall.
1:46.3	I'm so grateful just in time for school to hit and be so busy with the kids' activities.
