And I think later day Saints are largely afraid to engage with their own real thoughts about things to even know where to begin to formulate a question because they're afraid when they look inward a question

comes from doubt right or from lack of knowledge or from not being sure about something, not

knowing and not knowing is a scary scary place to be for many Latter-day Saints.

So like we never had a chance to learn how to question well in my opinion.

That's something that we do not equip our youth with at all and therefore our adults don't know how to do it either.
