Summary

Host Troy Baker talks with Showrunners Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann who reveal that Episode 2 of the series is about the infected. 0:43.5	demise of Anna Torre's character Tess. So right now let's jump straight into the conversation with
0:49.6	co-creators of the show Craig Mason and Neil Druckmann. Neil you directed this episode stepping
1:01.5	on stage seeing something that you had created at a digital medium now actually becoming tangible.
1:09.4	What was that like for you? It's one of the highlights of my life. I sometimes tell people
1:14.2	it's as if they made Disneyland just for me. To me like one of the greatest compliments I think
1:19.3	an artist could have is when you inspire another artist. Absolutely. And here I get to work with like
1:26.2	hundreds of people that are at the top of their game. These are the best people you could get for TV.
1:30.4	Like I got Craig Mason. I got all these people that are like are so in demand and they want to make
1:35.8	the last of us. That's the thing they want to work on for the next 200 day grueling shoot.
1:41.6	A walking on set I could feel that love and it made me emotional to see that and feel it.
1:47.2	But I'm curious for you transitioning from just this white stage with 64 cameras all around and
1:53.5	your actors are walking around in these weird spandex suits to now being on a set where the sets
1:59.6	are practical the props are practical the actors are in wardrobe. The big difference is you have to
2:06.9	plan everything ahead of time on a TV show in a way don't in the game. In the game we do this
2:11.6	performance capture everybody's wearing these funny suits with these balls. And then once you get
2:16.0	their performance and you kind of have it in 3D you can place the camera wherever you want. You can
2:21.2	change their costume you can change the set you can even change the character can't do it on a TV show.
