Like I did become obsessed with this issue when I was in law school and I spent way more time than I should have

reading all these expert depositions and these trial transcripts and stuff and I had in my mind

that I was going to write something for the journal I was on and I don't know if you

guys have ever been in this position where you just become disempowered for a

particular task that you want to do.

I didn't, I'm not from a prestigious undergrad with a lot of writing experience or anything.

I've had to write, I've had to learn my writing skills on the job.

And exam writing as you know has nothing to do with actual writing.
