Berra, who is an anesthesia and critical care attending and the medical director for respiratory

care at Massachusetts General Hospital, and also Dr. Roberta Santiago, who is an MD-PhD

we're going to talk about today is how the increasing rate of obesity in our country has really

changed the way we need to think about setting our events in both the operating room and the ICU,

what, how'd you get where you are and what does your career look like?

You want to start? Okay, so I, I'm from Brazil and I started my training in Brazil and

turned on my medicine and pulmonary. And by the end of my residency, I was missing something now,

and I had a rotation in a research center in another state in São Paulo. And there I get the

opportunity to work and do my PhD with Professor Marcelo Mato. And after this contact there,

I get to know Lorenzo and Robert Cosmaric here in the US and end up coming here to do my

BOSS doctorate fellowship. Fantastic. And just tell me because it's so interesting, what,
