Hello Mary, we have a special episode for you today.

We got the opportunity to interview someone who is doing some really

cool things in the world and I I wasn't expecting the conversation we had actually I was just so happy with how

rich the the ideas underneath a children's drag story hour would be and it is that rich and it is that beautiful

So I'm just really really thrilled that we were able to talk with little Miss Hot Met's.

Yeah, yeah, this was really fun.

It's always fun to chat with Drag Queens.

And we've had some fun guests on the show before.

And I feel like in some ways, little Miss Hot Mess I was like you were so on brand like this is so much of what she does and talks about and like even her drag aesthetic I was like, how have we not met?

And so this was, you know, beyond just talking about this new book,

the hips and the drag queen goes, swish, swish,

swish, it was just like fun to connect

with the drag queen who, like like we would root for on drag race.

Totally totally. The fact, you know her aesthetic aside the fact that what she's inherently doing is activism you know what I mean like it's inherent in the

art right you don't even have to comment on anything you just read stories to kids and

sure it's a lot less simpler than that but

just the act of that is so powerful and so yes yes definitely a Mary definitely

one that we would you
