I'm going to Welcome to the independent characters episode 2 30 the show of force update for space

Marines and Tyrinins. Watch out. Yeah so if you don't know what show of forces here at the independent character,

show force is where we do, so let's start with, when we started this program, Jeff and I, the one thing we didn't want to do was

Codex overview. Every podcast out there would effectively read the codex to you.

Yeah. Entries, rules, stats.

That was it.

You know, there's, oh yeah, now this creature has five attacks

and blah blah blah. And during those episodes like at its

height it was the worst like they were literally just reading line by line and so when Jeff and I started the

program one of the things we said it was we will not do Codex overview so there is

enough shows out there that are doing it.

We don't need to be one of those shows.

So then I proposed show of force to Jeff.

And Jeff said, wasn't that a Codex overview overview? And I said it's not because what we do is we look at the history of the army within

the game. Like, you know, when did it come out blah blah blah blah

where it sits in in functionally in all of the armies

what its release cycle is look like, how it's fared over those times,

what the lore behind the Army is.

A few standout units maybe models very specifically.

That we think are really cool. We talk about how it narratively it makes some

some fun you know games and then a little bit of competitive talk as well.
