Summary

For filmmakers Anders and Davin Lindwall, telling a story about farming and the Green Bay Packers was deeply personal. 0:09.9	Cripescast this week. We are talking to Anders and Davin Lindwall. That is the director and the
0:16.2	producer of the upcoming film, Green and Gold, in theaters January 31st. If you don't know about green and gold,
0:24.1	I'm in it. So there's more to know, though. It stars Craig T. Nelson. And it is all about farming.
0:31.8	It's all about family. It's all about the Packers. It's all about Culvers. So, you know,

0:38.8	I think it's a pretty good movie. It was cool to see how a couple guys who grew up in the UP,
0:43.9	they come from farming in their family, and they grew up in sort of small town, America,
0:51.9	and they really found a lot of heart to put into this film. It's about the
0:56.9	93 Packers season. That's right when Brett Fav kind of came and the team sort of started going
1:03.0	in an upward trajectory after going in kind of a downward trajectory for like a couple decades
1:10.5	there. So it was fun to sort of relive that season.
1:14.6	And anyway, it was great getting insight from Anders and David and into what it actually
1:19.1	took to make this film on a shoestring budget.
1:23.5	And they could have gotten more money.
1:26.4	They could have had this whole thing be easier if they just shot it outside Wisconsin.
1:31.5	But they said, no, obviously, you have to you have to stay true to the heart of the film and everything.
1:36.9	They shot it in Wisconsin in Door County, beautiful Door County.
1:41.4	And I just think it's an incredible film. It was great talking with these guys. I think
