Here's your host, Brandon Adam. We got some great news yesterday.

I was so happy to hear it.

I know so many of you are too.

Jalen Walker, the Georgia linebacker, has won the Buccas Award for the nation's top lineback.

I just think this is tremendous news.

And I think it's kind of true for a handful of reasons here.

First of all, Georgia has kind of had a stranglehold on the Buccas Award in the Kirby Smart Era

and Nacopi Dean won that going back 2021.

Roquant Smith won that back in 2017.

And now Walker becomes the third linebacker in the Kirby Air to do that.

And I thought Georgia did a great job yesterday of kind of showcasing when they found this out,

that he's the Buckus Award winner, got a big ovation from his teammates there,

and the Georgia team meeting room.

I just think all of that is a really exceptional, a well-earned, you know,

thing and just a tremendous celebration. What a cool thing there for a Jalen Walker. I love the

stranglehold that Georgia sort of had on this award. But I also like the fact that whether it be

Buccas or a couple of Mackey Awards for Brock Bowers. We've seen Thorpe Award and Nogerski Award and

an Outland Trophy that Georgia just sort of has in the Smart Era like a national award winner

every single year. And there's all these different ways you kind of try to quantify and
