but the sort of melodramatic way in which Alabama seems to be approaching this is,

is to a degree, kind of funny.

You may be aware of this, that Alabama's apparently having some NIL issues,

or at least it perceives itself, too.

They've lost some players under the transfer portal.

You know, Jeh Motors is going to Colorado.

Caleb Odom's going to Ole Miss.

Justice Haynes is going somewhere.

They've also held on to a couple of guys.

The defensive back is deciding to stay.

He may play wide receiver.

You know, Ryan Williams looks like he's going to stay.

Maybe they had to pony up to keep him.

But there's been a lot of transfer drama around Alabama and all kinds of like social media chatter about this, message board rumors.
