We know a lot more now than we did the last time we spoke on this show on Friday. For instance,

we now know who George is going to play in its first playoff game, the quarterfinal

matchup in the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans on New Year's Day. It will be the Notre Dame Fighting

Irish. Now, this is not a huge surprise. I don't know that I heard all that many people on our

show, commenters, people who interact with us on social media. I don't know that I heard all that many people on our show, commenters,

people who interact with us on social media. I don't know that I heard very many people say

they thought Indiana would beat Notre Dame. So the fact that it will be the Fighting Irish,

they're in New Orleans. I think it's kind of the expectation that most folks had. Now,

let's also say this. There's a cool historic callback. Obviously, we all remember.

Not we don't remember. We're all aware of, let's say it like that. We were all aware of the fact that

Georgia's national championship in 1980 came into conclusion of a season in which it beat Notre Dame

in New Orleans. So to have kind of a big sort of high stakes game back in the same venue, same bowl game against the same opponent.

That's sort of cool, right?

I think we can all kind of understand that.

And as we look ahead to what the sugar bowl is going to be like, I think there are two pretty big questions that sort of hang over this game right now.

And I want to kind of address both of those in some form or fashion

over the course of the next few minutes.
