One of the recent interesting changes in college football is that the month of December has become this wild time,

where a thousand things are going on at one time,

and we probably don't give a lot of the individual things that happen in a month like

that all of the attention it deserves because you just can't.

This thing happens and boom, you're moving right on to the next thing, whether it's

signing day, transfer portal, college football playoff, and thankfully at a place like this,

that's something that's sort of a regular part of our December's. But there's so much going on that all of the

individual things don't quite get as much attention as they could. I have an example of that

for you here coming up at a moment, something that is not new. And yet at the same time, when it was initially going down, I don't know that many people

exactly saw it, heard it, paid as much attention to it as they could.

But let me kind of lead into that in a couple of clips I'm going to play for you by saying this, that if you look around the landscaping college football, one of the things we're starting to notice a pretty good bit is, is that there are obviously concerns about transfers all the time.

Coaches are worried about that.

They are, I believe, essentially trying to restructure and rebuild the college football

calendar to kind of play defense against some of these would-be transfers.

Fans are obviously worried about that kind of thing, too, because the last thing you want

to do is pick up your phone or your device and see so-and-so is going to the portal or so-and-so

wants to go in the portal or whatever else.

That's the kind of unpleasant news you want to try to avoid that just the defining posture
