As I was preparing this podcast, I was getting ready to fly out to Georgia with all my children for a big extravaganza week with all the kids.

And I was trying to get these podcasts done before I left town and my house was destroyed and everything.

You know how it is the day before trip, everything's crazy. And I was sitting down, I'm like, I'm going to get these podcasts at least done and scheduled.

So I don't have to worry about them when I'm on vacation. And I had this feeling go to the temple. And I was like, hmm, guess what? Emily Fother, I don't have time.

I can't go to the temple today. I do not have time for this. And I kind of fought that little voice in my head for a while. And finally, I was like, okay, fine. And I scheduled employment.

I went and did an endowment session. And when I was leaving, I met this sweet little lady in the parking lot. We became friends. I put my number in her phone and texted it to myself.

And then when I got my phone, it wasn't there. So I gave her the wrong number. So KD, if you are listening, I am trying to get ahold of you.

I gave you my information on Facebook, find me. But that wasn't the point. When I got there, and I was reading the scriptures, and when I was just sitting there thinking during this session, there was a problem that I had that was bugging me about some future ventures that are going on in my life.

And it all unfolded. And Heavenly Father gave me direct revelation about what I should do. And I wasn't even thinking about that as I was getting ready for my trip. But God knows what we're thinking. God knows what we need. He knows when we need direction. He knows how he can give it to us.

And I'm sure you probably could have found a place in the scriptures to give it to me that day as I was reading. But I think he was like, but you know what? The words that I need her to hear today are actually in this endowment session. So just go.

And I may not have known what I didn't know if I didn't go. Maybe that's a good. That's like a song. I may not even know what I didn't know if I didn't go.

So go to the temple and learn the things that you need to learn because God is so gracious and so willing to help us in the righteous things and the good things that we're trying to do in our life. He just is cool. I'm a fan.

All right. This is a podcast from four years ago. It's about the crucifixion. It's really good. It's sad. These things are kind of hard to think about and digest. But I think we need to. I think we need to remember all the time how much the Savior loves us and what an incredible thing he did for us. So from four years ago.

So I just want to do a tiny bit of a recap on the sacrament this week. How did you guys do? Did it feel different than it has in weeks past when I got there. I started thinking about it. And I thought, oh, remember when it said to write stuff down that you're thankful for those Savior. So I got out of notebook and I wrote some things down and that was cool.

Something different to do. But we had a girl in our Sunday school class today and she's actually the girl who said the cool thing about remembering Jesus that we had a relationship with him.

And she was back today and she's from San Paulo, Brazil. And she was back visiting today and we were talking about the sacrament and the way she talked about it was so beautiful. And I wish I had her sweet little Brazilian accent. And I could explain it with all the love that she did.

But the thing that she said that was so cool was that she talked about how much she loved Jesus. So she always wanted to take the sacrament and she said, I want to take the sacrament because I love him.

So no matter where I am on a trip, I try to find a church so I can take the sacrament because I love him. And I got thinking about it when she said that and I thought, yeah, I need to look forward to the sacrament because I love him.

And I want to have that sweet time to remember him that set aside just for him. And so I've always been proud of myself when we're out of town that we try to find a church somewhere and at least go to a segment meeting because that's what you're supposed to do.
