The The On the morning of July 18, 2009, in the quiet suburb of Northern Epine, Sydney, Australia,

concerned relatives of the Lin family made their way to their home to check in on them.

The concern arose after a customer of the Lynn's usually bustling convenience store

realized the store hadn't been opened yet.

Instead, it was dark and shuttered up.

This was especially unusual because the Lynn family was incredibly punctual when it came to opening up the store seven days a week. Early enough for residents of the community to pick up

their morning paper or a lucky lottery ticket.

But not that morning.

It wouldn't be until the Lynn's relatives made their way inside the family home that they'd realize the horrifying reason why.
