I've had over the years and more lately some people writing in and asking specifically

topics and I'm going to turn it over to Dr. Sagna who will give us a little background and

the regional anesthesia director for Johns Hopkins Bayview and I also regularly serve on our acute

pain team. Joining us today is Dr. Richard Barnhart who is the director of the acute pain service

at Johns Hopkins Bayview as well as Dr. Kelly Dremko who is an APS attending at our main campus

and Dr. Reyes who is also a APS attending at our main campus. They both also do regional anesthesia

and are involved with our fellowship leadership. Today I will introduce the idea of what an APS

service is and when we are usually consulted Dr. Barnhart will then dive further into how we approach

consults and the key information we look for in order to make pain management decisions. Lastly
