Hi everyone and welcome back to the Faculty of Horror Podcasting from the Harrod Halls of Academia. I'm Alex West with Andrea Subasati.

And like we promised last time, it continues to get hotter and hotter in the room

morgue vault. It is quite steamy in here and I think that has a little something to do with our friends the

cenabytes. We have such pods to cast you today. I was so excited to

tackle this subject for the Faculty of Horror. I was so excited to watch these films.

As you can imagine listeners, we put a whole lot of research into these episodes.

We put a whole lot of work into it and we're happy to do it.

We love horror. We love horror movies. We love nerding out about horror but the past couple of

episodes when you're having a shitty day and you get home from work and you're like man

I have to watch World War Z my My life sucks. I did not have that experience with Hellraiser.

I was so excited to do this research.

Yeah, these films are amazing. They're fun. I saw them. I'm sure like many of you probably a little bit too young

to fully appreciate everything that was going on within them, but I've come back

to them time and again. I even went through a period last summer where I really got off on watching all the crazy

sequels and just seeing how bigger and stranger and wilder they get.

That was a lot of fun.

And then this time going back to the two original films I had a really

great time because I actually watched them with my roommate who had never seen

them before and he really really enjoyed them so it was a great way to get to share the experience not only for

myself but to share it was someone who was brand new and to take in their experience of the

films and how they responded and reacted to it. Needless to say he thought they were a crazy good time.
