It's the only thing guaranteed besides taxes, but advances in medicine over the past 60 years

have woken millions from eternal slumber. About 10% of those folks saw what they claim was the

other side. Are their brains merely playing tricks on them? Or is consciousness something more

A bump in the nights, your heart fills with dread, probably a murder of who wants you dead.

It could be a ghost, a demon or worse. Perhaps you're the victim of a witch's

curse. It's hopeless. You're doomed. You'd call a priest if you could. You'd rather just listen to

Who? Sinisterhood. I'm going to kill you.

Well, I've been mainlining this dude's book, Bruce Grayson's book for the past few days.

And I love a scientist, man.

I love somebody who's like, I don't know.

Yeah, this whole episode is giving me an existential crisis.

So hopefully.

It's a, no, it's fascinating.

It's one of those things, like, maybe the only thing that, well, maybe not the only thing, but the biggest thing that until you've

been there, you really can't say. I feel like you can't really know. There's other things that you're

like, well, I just don't know how I'd react in that situation, but you might live to tell how

what happened when you were confronted with that choice. Yes. But for this, most people don't.

Most people don't come back and tell you what happened.

No, and the ones that, and really until we'll talk about it, you know, the last 60 years or so,

that just was not an option, really.
