Thanks for having me. It is really a pleasure. I had these high hopes I got to confess to you

that I was going to have you on. We were going to have a dish session where we talked about

frivolous pop culture topics to have some escapism and take our minds off of the issues that have really

been, I think, consuming not just us in our respective shows but

most of the left and frankly independent media sphere on all sides of the aisle recently but I don't know

that I'm going to be able to pull us away from the inertia of the crazy news week of stories coming out of Gaza that we've had.

Yeah, it would be a little hard to do.

Maybe we can do a little bit of both.

So part of my plan is to start as light as Gaza News can be, which is to start by getting

by getting your reaction to Rami Yussif's SNL monologue last Saturday, which called for a

ceasefire in Gaza and which got a pretty substantial round of applause from the New York

S&L audience. Let's take a listen to some of that.

I really think our next president should be a woman.

You know what I mean?

Like that would be amazing.

A little less support, yeah.

That's New York, right?
