One of the things that to me is really troubling and it relates to that question is that we are living in an arena or an era of what I call the normalization of untruths and the misinformation and disinformation that spreads around is stunning.

I mean, to the point where if you normalize it and accept it,

then truth has no value,

when truth has no value, science falls apart.

Because science is a process for getting to evidence, data, and truth.

And if you take that away, then skepticism abounds.
